Location

The school, this year co-organised with Università Politecnica delle Marche and Università di Genova in framework of project WIND-RISK, funded by Nect Generation EU, will take place at Hotel Orsa Maggiore (http://www.orsamaggiore.it/) in Castro Marina, a very nice marine resort close to Lecce, in the south-eastern corner of Italy.

How to arrive to Lecce

By plane: the nearest airport is “Brindisi airport” – about 50 km from Lecce. Lecce is connected to this airport by different buses and shuttle services; we can arrange private buses if you need, ask to the help mail. Alternatively, you can fly into Bari Airport, which is about 170 km from Lecce. While it is farther, Bari Airport offers a wider selection of national and international flights. It is well connected to Lecce by train, bus, and private transfer options.
By trains: Lecce is linked by train to the major Italian cities as Rome, Milan, Bologna etc.

Shuttles from airport and train station will be organized but the cost is not covered by organization.
